The heart of Crossroad Orchard is our dedicated family. Doug and Sue, both in their 80s, remain actively involved in the orchard's operations. Their hard work and vision significantly expanded the farm, turning it into the thriving orchard it is today. They were joined by their two children, John and Susan, and their five grandchildren, Ryan, Madalyn, Sam, Alison, and Amie, who have all contributed to the orchard's success and growth over the years.
Now, the next generation is enjoying the fruits of this legacy. The great-grandchildren delight in the orchard, exploring the apple trees, ponds, tractors, and more. They are growing up with the same love for the land and dedication to quality that has been passed down through the family for over a century.
Our Story
Local Family Farm
Welcome to Crossroad Orchard! Our story begins in 1911 when our family planted the first apple trees on this land. Over six generations, our orchard has grown from a small family farm into a thriving business with more apple trees than ever before. Doug and Sue, both in their 80s, have been the heart and soul of the orchard, significantly expanding it with the help of their two children, John and Susan, and their five grandchildren: Ryan, Madalyn, Alison, Sam, and Amie. Their dedication and hard work have made Crossroad Orchard what it is today.

At Crossroad Orchard, we take pride in offering a wide variety of homegrown apples, from the sweet Honeycrisp and Fuji to the tart Granny Smith and Winesap. Our fresh, homemade cider is crafted multiple times a week during the season, each batch unique and perfected over more than a century. We also provide an assortment of seasonal produce, including pumpkins, corn, and tomatoes, ensuring that you have access to the best local flavors throughout the year.
